Model 88: Termination Block Family

Protected MDF Block

Non-Protected MDF Block

The Model 86 family is the most versatile conventional frame terminal block family available, terminating 100 pairs on a variety of terminal pin configurations:

  • 86BQT - bifurcated tri-beam quick-clip

  • 86X - 66-type single quick-clip

  • 86BW -  bifurcated wire wrap terminals

The Model 86 Block terminates pairs from a CPE application or Central Office by means of permanent wire wrap connections on the rear of the block. Corresponding quick-clip or wire wrap terminals on the front of the block are used to terminate jumper wires from outside plant connector blocks.

Model 88 blocks are compact, eight inch wide terminal blocks with the capacity to terminate very high density circuits such as SMAS test points, digital carrier and Metallic Facility Terminations (MFTs). They are also available in moderate capacity configurations for use in terminating subscriber line circuits.

The 88 Block terminates up to 256 pairs on a 16 x 32 wire wrap or bifurcated wire wrap pin field.

A high density, universally mountable, multi-purpose connector block for conventional main distribution frames.

The Protected MDF Block utilizes a front administered industry standard IDC cross connect field with integral test points. It also features integrated tunneled wire management from the side to the front IDC.

Available with a wide variety of protector modules:  from standard telephony to ultra low capacitance solid-state technology designed for improved performance on DSL or other high frequency circuits.

A high density, universally mountable, multi-purpose connector block for conventional main distribution frames.

The Non-Protected MDF Block utilizes a front administered industry standard IDC cross connect field with integral test points. It also features integrated tunneled wire management from the side to the front IDC.

High density compact design allows for maximum pair coverage per frame vertical.
