The Model 86 Terminal Block family is the most versatile conventional frame terminal block family available, terminating 100 pairs on a variety of terminal pin configurations - bifurcated tri-beam quick-clip (86BQT), 66-type single quick-clip (86X) or bifurcated wire wrap terminals (86BW). The blocks occupy 9.12" (23.1cm) of vertical space and are only 4.75" (I 2.8 cm) deep and 3.25" (8.2 cm) wide.

The Model 86 Block terminates pairs from a CPE application or Central Office by means of permanent wire wrap connections on the rear of the block. Corresponding quick-clip or wire wrap terminals on the front of the block are used to terminate jumper wires from outside plant connector blocks.

Connectorization:
The cable side of this block is available terminated with four standard 25-pair connectors.

Mounting:
The universal mounting bracket contains mounting slots which will fit the mounting hole pattern on most frames. With the mounting bracket, the 86 terminal block protrudes only 4.75" (12.8cm).
